Intelligent All-Wheel Drive

Remain constantly in command. With Infiniti’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, one of the world’s most advanced, the G Coupe maintains performance by adapting to changing road conditions. Monitoring wheelspin, throttle position and vehicle speed, the system can automatically divert from 0 to 50% of the power -or anything in between- to the front wheels giving you all-wheel-drive traction when you need it. Or it can direct 100% of the power to the rear for rear-wheel-drive handling when you don’t.

Performance Brakes

The unique collaboration of Infiniti designers and engineers created the G Coupe’s massive 14-inch front rotors and sculpted 4-piston front calipers that grab faster and with more finite control than a sliding caliper design. 4-Wheel Active Steer

By actively turning all four wheels as you steer, 4-Wheel Active Steer elevates handling. It is the only sport coupe that adjusts both steering angle and ratio, along with rear wheel angle, adapting to be more responsive and predictable. With natural low speed feel, responsive mid-speed turn-in and precise high-speed stability, it creates a sense of fluidity and control that makes cornering feel gracefully easy.

Transmission

With the 7-speed automatic, more gears means you always have the optimum selection for quick and responsive acceleration. And the high 7th gear allows lower-rpm cruising for greater fuel efficiency. Shift through all seven smoothly and seamlessly in automatic mode, or switch into manual with Downshift Rev Matching and use the solid magnesium paddle shifters for a more hands-on connection. Or opt for the 6-speed manual transmission and take direct control for maximum performance.

Navigation System

For a more accurate sense of direction, the available touch-screen Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System features XM NavTraffic® with Real-Time Traffic information, using color codes and icons to indicate traffic flow, accidents and road closures. 3-D building graphics give you a better sense of your surroundings, and Lane Guidance shows you which lane to be in when approaching a highwway interchange or exit. RearView Monitor

With this option, engage reverse and your Vehicle Information System monitor displays images from a discreet color camera mounted on the rear of the vehicle.
