The titanium-valved 325-hp 4.5 liter V8 and 303-hp 3.5 liter V6 deliver a smooth surge of energy. Bot feature continuously variable valve timing and a 5-speed or 7-speed (M35 only) automatic transmission with Drive Sport (DS) mode, manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching. The M35’s 7-speed automatic also delivers improved fuel economy.

Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD)

Infiniti created Intelligent AWD to give you all-wheel-drive traction when it’s slick and rear-wheel drive responiveness when it’s not. Intelligent AWD instantly adapts to changing conditions by constantly monitoring wheelspin, throttle position and vehicle speed to automatically send up to 50% of available power to the front wheel. And engaging Snow Mode reduces throttle sensitivity to help avoid wheelspin during initial acceleration.

Rear Active Steer

With the Infiniti M Sport Package, rear wheels do more than translate engine power. Turn the vehicle into a curve and they assist in the delivery of crisp handling. Reacting to both steering input and vehicle speed, Rear Active Steer alters the angle of the rear wheels, helping the vehicle turn in more quickly and track more precisely.

Sport Package

To unleas the full capacity of the Infiniti M, the Sport Package provides an array of enhancements. Sport-tuned suspension tightens the chassis and heightens driver feel, while 19″ wheels and tires maximize your grip on the road. Infiniti-exlusive Rear Active Steer provides sharper response on winding roads yet confident stability on the highway. Aggressively styled front and rear bumpers visually express the M’s performance credentials.

Infiniti Controller

Its design lets you intuitively control vehicle information and the available navigation systems in the manner that suits you. You can interact using the circular dial or arrow buttons, or there’s a set of traditional controls for audio and climate. The simple touch screen makes commands even easier, or just speak clearly and let the available Infiniti Voice Recognition do the rest.

Technology

Dynamic Audio

The available premium 2-channel Bose(r) audio system features eight strategically placed speakers. Included is the Interface System for iPod(r) that allows you to have full command of your iPod through the audio controls. Or opt for the Bose(r) Studio Surround(r) sound system and upgrade to digital 5.1 decoding and a multi-media drive with 14 speakers, including personal surround speakers in the shoulders of each front seat for an intimate experience. Surround-stage processing sends each audio channel to specific speakers for balance surround sound.

Music Box(tm)

The available 9.3GB built-in Music Box hard drive allows you to personally catalog your music. It gives you the power to rip up to 2,900 songs and then store and catalog them by title, artist, mood or other categories. Create an extensive playlist to easily access and enjoy the soundtrack to your drive. A compact flash card can also be inserted into the dash slot to listen to your playlists from home.

RearView Monitor

When you engage reverse, the optional RearView Monitor helps you see what’s directly behind you. A live image is displayed on the central screen from a discreet camera mounted on the rear of the vehicle. Onscreen guidelines move along with steering input, helping to show your actual path as you’re backing up.

Infiniti Navigation System

To help optimize your drive time and give a natural sense of direction, the available touch-screen Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System features XM NavTraffic(r) which provides Real-Time Traffic information. Lane Guidance also shows which lane to be in when approaching a highway interchange or exit and 3-D building graphics give you a clear image of where you are and want to go. All these features can easily be controlled through the touch-screen, the Infiniti Voice Recognition system of the centralized Infiniti Controller. Navigation was never made so simple.
