Shift through all seven smoothly and seamlessly in automatic mode, or switch into manual with Downshift Rev Matching and use the solid magnesium paddle shifters to take direct control.
Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
True performance means not having to sacrifice control. Responsive Intelligent AWD instantly adapts to the changing conditions of the road. The system actively adjusts the balance of power between the front and the rear wheels, giving you all-wheel-drive traction when you need it and rear-wheel-drive handling when you don’t.
Handling
Genuine performance is built on a solid foundation like the sports car-inspired platform of the FX. With the engine’s weight toward the center and the wheels pushed to the corners, it’s balance for better handling. Available Continuous Damping Control (CDC(r)) will automatically tighten or soften the suspension when you’re cornering or cruising, or you can manually set sport mode. And available Rear Active Steer will actively turn the rear wheels for sharper turn-in.
Purposeful Design
From wide stance to declarative details, flowing hood to sculpted taillights, the FX is crafted for balance, aerodynamics and expression. The 21-inch wheels, custom-designed for the FX50 by Enkei, are wrapped in low-profile performance tires for superior grip and steering response. And the standard side air vents put function above mere fashion, reducing front-end lift by up to 5%.

Advanced Climate Control System
Exclusive to the FX50, Infiniti’s innovated Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) not only helps keep the air in your cabin clean, it actively cleans it. The system automatically shuts outside air vents when exhaust fumes are detected, while its grape polyphenol filter removes up to 99.5% of airborne allergens from the cabin and its Plasmacluster(tm) air purifier uses charged ions to help reduce or neutralize airborne germs.
Versatility
Up to 62.0 cubic feet of space that always configures, never confines. Adaptive seating optimizes your cargo capabilities with quick-folding 60/40 split rear seats that individually fold flat – a job made easy with remote releases in the cargo area. It’s low for easy loading, and wide and long to accommodate larger object. Never has something this bold made this much sense.
Technology
Around View Monitor
Much more than a rear camera, the available Around View Monitor (standard on FX50) uses four exterior cameras on every side to give a virtual 360-degree view. This bird’s-eye perspective is displayed on your in-dash monitor to help you see all around your FX. If you get too close to an object, you’ll see a warning on the screen and an audible warning will even sound, giving you greater confidence and convenience when parking.
Distance Control Technology
The Infiniti FX transforms the reality of traffic with technology that will help manage your speed and maintain your distance to the car ahead. Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range) will effortlessly adjust your speed to match the flow of traffic. And in slowing traffic, industry-first Distance Control Assist (DCA) intuitively helps you release the throttle and apply the brakes to maintain a safe cushion of space.
Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System
Directions made simple with the available Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System. Featuring XM NavTraffic with Real-Time Traffic information, it monitors traffic flow, accidents and road closures, helping you avoid backups and optimize your drive time. Lane Guidance shows which lane to be in when approaching a highway interchange or exit, and 3-D building graphics give you a clear image of where you are and want to go. Control all these features through the touch-screen, the Infiniti Voice Recognition system of the Infiniti Controller.
Bose(r) Premium Audio System
Surround yourself in clear and crisp sound with the 11-speaker enhanced Bose(r) Premium Audio System. You can listen to your iPod(r) in high-quality sound through the available Interface System for iPod in addition to an available built-in 9.3 GB Music Box that automatically rips and stores up to 2,900 songs as you play your CDs, then catalogs them for easy access. Or enjoy the wide variety of music options on the standard XM(r) Satellite Radio.
Infiniti Mobile Entertainment System
Infiniti has found a way to please everyone with the available rear entertainment system. Rear passengers can enjoy a movie or video game on the 9-inch color monitor that automatically flips down from the overhead console. The system also comes with two wireless headphones and a remote control for greater convenience.
