320-hp V8 Engine

It is one of the strongest engines Infiniti has ever built: a 5.6-liter V8 that exerts a formidable 320 hp and 393 lb-ft of torque. An engine designed to stand up to the force it exudes, with a reinforced aluminum block and a crankshaft of forged steel. Even the oil pan is crafted with structural aluminum.

All-Mode 4WD(r)

Conditions change. Available All-Mode 4WD adjusts. In AUTO mode the system continually fine-tunes the distribution of torque between front and rear wheels to help maintain its handle on the road. The system also has settings for 2WD, 4WD High and 4WD Low for high-torque needs, such as hauling a heavy boat up a steep ramp.

Towing Capacity

The QX56 4WD hauls up to 8,900 lbs, more than any other SUV in its class, and the 2WD hauls up to 9,000 lbs. This capacity comes from its truck-based chassis, lower gear ratios and auto-leveling rear suspension that adjusts for the added weight of a trailer and cargo.

The power driver’s seat adjusts ten ways to provide you with the utmost comfort. It also remembers two sets of preferences so when you turn the ignition on, the memory system automatically returns the sear, steering wheel, side mirrors and pedals to your presets. Second-row passengers enjoy best-in-class legroom in adjustable captain’s chairs, as well as fold-down armrests, rear zone climate controls, and individual heated seat control.

Tailored Convenience

The refined atmosphere in the QX is crafted to cater to your needs and desires. The soft, thickly padded leather steering wheel can be quickly warmed at the press of a button. Power-adjustable pedals mean you can set the seats exactly to your liking, and three climate zones give the driver, front passenger and rear occupants control of their environments.

Versatile Cargo Area

With the second and third-row seats folded down and the second-row center console removed, the QX56 gives you a flat load surface big enough to accommodate 97.1 cubic feet of cargo. It also includes a fold-forward front passenger seat and a 60/40-split power folding third-row seat for maximum convenience and flexibility.

Infiniti Mobile Entertainment System

Entertain rear passengers with a movie or plug-in video game while you stay focused on the road. This available system features an 8-inch color monitor that flips down from the overhead center console, two digital-quality wireless headphones and even a remote control.

RearView Monitor

To activate the standard RearView Monitor, engage reverse and the in-dash monitor shows you what’s directly behind from a tiny camera mounted unobtrusively on the QX56’s rear door. The display features colored guidelines to help give you an accurate sense of how close you are to objects behind – right up to the rear bumper. And the rear sonar system offers an audible alert as you approach an object.

Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System

The QX’s standard Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation system features XM NavTraffic(r), which provides Real-Time Traffic information for your route. Infiniti-exclusive Birdview(tm) offers an elevated 3-D perspective for a better sense of your surroundings. And lane Guidance will show you which lane to be in as you approach highway interchanges and exits.

Sound Design

The 12-speaker enhanced Bose(r) premium audio is crafted for you to hear more of your music. A 24-bit Burr-Brown DAC reproduces sound in more detail, then it’s deepened by a built-in sub woofer and boosted by a second amplifier in the third row. Also, the 9.3GB Music Box hard drive lets you store and organize up to 2,900 songs.
